After getting a professor at ACC that seemed less than enthused about being there, I thought I was in big trouble.  To make a long story short, I found Patrick and he basically ended up becoming my teacher.  And wow!, what a teacher. 'Before applying to colleges, I had to bring up the math portion of the SAT.  I met with Patrick [at Just Math Tutoring], and he gave me a couple of diagnostic tests to take.  I was scoring about 450 out of a possible 800; not great.  In fact, not even good.  Patrick and I set up an intense schedule since I had to take the SAT in about a month.  Anwyays, to make a long story short, I made a 630 on the math portion!  Not the best score in the world, but for me, a huge improvement.  I was amazed.  Between my now respectable math score, and my other good scores on the SAT, I applied to the schools I wanted to.  Guess what, I got into my two top picks!  Thanks Patrick, you are the best!

  'When I suggested to my daughter that we get a math tutor for her, she was less than enthused.  After going to a couple of the bigger tutoring companies in town, I became less than enthused as well.  My daughter's grades barely improved, and she seemed to loathe the experience altogether.
   After a friend suggested Patrick [at Just Math Tutoring], I was willing to give it one more shot, as she spoke so very highly of him.  Let me just say, "WOW!"  After a couple of sessions, my daughter who had been struggling in the class went on to score her first A.  She had the second highest grade in the class!  We have continued to work with him, and her grades have remained very good.  He also goes out of his way to talk to me about my daughter and her progress.  And best of all, when I pick her up, she is always laughing.  I mean, math, fun?!  She says it is!  She even looks forward to their meetings.  In her words,  "He is the coolest math person she has ever met!"

    After taking an online algebra class twice and failing, which kept me from getting my nursing degree, I was in tears.  When I met with Patrick, he helped to take some of my nervousness away, but not all of it.  Well, to make a long story short, I should have not been nervous at all!
