  Unlike many larger tutoring companies who rely on tutors with little or no teaching experience and who themselves are often not experts in Mathematics, Just Math Tutoring was founded by someone with a Masters Degree in Mathematics and 5+ years of teaching at the University Level.  In addition, I have 15+ years of private tutoring experience, providing help to all ages and all skill levels.   All of our tutors either have an Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics and/or have experience as middle school teachers or high school teachers.

  Besides a thorough knowledge in Mathematics, one should always look for a tutor that you are compatible with. I try to provide a very relaxed, laid back style of instruction making sure that you are comfortable asking any question that you may have. A higher comfort level allows for a free exchange of ideas which enhances communication, which fascilitates critical thinking. Good communication is just as important as having someone who really knows his or her stuff! After all, your tutor may be as smart as Einstein, but if he can not explain it to you, then what good does it do you?

  Lastly, there is no sales pitch!  I listen to what you need and do our best to provide it!  Whether you need our services only a few times or are interested in setting up something more long term, I will do our best to provide exactly what you need.  With us, there are no lengthy contracts to sign and to be bothered with.
